Pastor's Preview

Dear Friends,

On Sunday, we celebrate a special day on the church calendar—Reign of Christ or Christ the King Sunday. This is the last Sunday before the start of Advent, marking the end of the church calendar. It also celebrates our loyalty to Jesus above other allegiances. It prompts us to consider what that loyalty means, especially when we have many images of Jesus, from lowly servant to triumphant leader. I’ll explore these questions in a sermon that I’m calling, “Shepherd or Monarch.” I hope to see you on Sunday.

Grace and peace,

Chris
