Dear Friends,
Can We Heal? Can We Change?
On Sunday we hear two stories about people whose lives were changed by their encounters with Jesus. In the gospel, Jesus forgives Peter for his denial and entrusts him with responsibility for the church. In Acts, we read about the conversion of Paul from one who persecuted the church to one who built the community of disciples. Today, in our fractious times, some of us wonder whether it’s possible to change or to heal from past mistakes and old wounds? I’ll share stories that help us to think more deeply about these questions and hope for our lives today. Please join us for worship and a sermon that I’m calling, “Can We Heal? Can We Change?”
