SERMON PREVIEW

Beloved Central Church,

On Sunday, we celebrate Easter and God's victory over the grave. It is a time of great joy and loud shouts of alleluia as we proclaim that Christ is risen, Christ is risen, indeed.

The day begins before dawn with a sunrise service at Salisbury Reservation. We gather on the pavilion near the first parking lot. The service starts at 6:00 am. We will be joined by People's and East Parish United Methodist Churches and the Salvation Army. After worship, everyone is invited to breakfast at East Parish Church in Salisbury Square.

We gather again at Central for a celebration of God's promise of new life. Worship opens with the Central band playing at 10:00 am and the formal service at 10:30 with the chancel choir and special music for communion. The flowering of the cross offers a dramatic visual representation of God's transformative power and overflowing love.

I hope you will join us for worship and a sermon that I'm calling, "Earthquakes, Angels, and Resurrection."

Grace and Peace,

Rev. Chris
