The Central Connection

Central Congregational Church,

United Church of Christ

Newburyport, MA

The Rev. Dr. Christopher Ney, pastor

WORSHIP SCHEDULE

On Sunday we celebrate the Baptism of Jesus. In the story, Jesus expresses his need for baptism by John—a beautiful model for us to recognize and identify our needs before one another and God. Then, as Jesus emerges from the water, everyone hears the voice of the Lord claiming him as a beloved Son. Again, a word of promise for our lives as we have been claimed by God’s love in baptism and participation in the life of the church. I hope to see you on Sunday.

Grace and peace,

Chris

Venmo is one of the most popular and is now available for contributions to support the ministry of Central Church. You can use the QR code to access Central’s account @on Venmo. Please indicate how you would like to direct your donation with comments like “General” or “Outreach.” Special thanks to Jeff Gray for setting up this account.
